Being a part of NetGalley is just awesome.
For those who aren’t familiar, NetGalley is an online platform where readers and bloggers such as myself can request to read new and upcoming releases in their unpublished form. It’s a great way to be one of the first to read a new book before the masses.
I don’t get approved for every book I request, of course. But in general, I get to read quite a bit.
Here are a few of the latest books I’ve read through NetGalley that I think will be worth checking out when they hit shelves or Amazon:
The Boundary Boss Workbook by Terri Cole (Published Oct. 31, 2023)

I really appreciated how in-depth this workbook goes into leading the reader through exercises meant to teach them about setting and protecting boundaries. If you’ve ever struggled with finding the right language to set boundaries in your life, this is the perfect workbook for you.
13 Things Mentally Strong Couples Don’t Do by Amy Morin (Releases Dec. 26, 2023)

Morin is fairly well-known for her “13 Things” series of books…I think this might be her ninth or so book. I really liked some of her past offerings and this one was worth a read if you’re in a relationship right now, or just want to improve your future relationships. I didn’t think it came across as preachy.
How to Train Your Dog by Adam Spivey (Releases Jan. 30, 2024)

This book was a godsend, considering that Daithin and I just got our first puppy. I will say that while I agree with most of Spivey’s training advice, there are a few things that we found we disagreed with. I think it’s a book to check out but ultimately, do what you feel is best for your dog and family.
The Ultimate Wildlife Habitat Garden by Stacy Tornio (Releases Feb. 6, 2024)

As a gardening nerd, I requested this one so fast. I really loved the garden plan ideas, especially for flower beds. It was really helpful to get tips on specific flowers and plants to attract bees, butterflies, birds and beneficial insects.
